Airport
(approximate driving time 1hr. 12 min.) Take exit 6 to get
onto Highway 102 Take exit 5 on Highway 102, so that you don't miss the
Annapolis Valley merge, then Take Exit 4B to get onto Highway 101 Take
exit 10 to arrive in Wolfville
From Halifax
(approximate time 1 hr. 10 min.) From Highway 111
over MacKay Bridge Take exit 2 to get onto Dartmouth Road (Highway 7)
Follow the Sackville/Windsor signage Highway 101 Take exit 10 to arrive in
Wolfville
From New Brunswick (approximate driving time from border
3hr. 10 min.) Travel south on Highway 104 Take exit 15 onto Highway
102 toward Truro & Halifax Take exit 4B to get onto Highway 101
Take exit 10 to arrive in Wolfville

Like to be Driven?
It's possible to book transportation through Wood's Limo Service for
travel between either downtown Halifax or the airport and Wolfville. Their
website is at http://www.woodslimo.com and you can
call them at 1-888-720-5466. Be
sure to state that you are coming to a workshop at Acadia. Acadia gets
special rates, as follows:

Wood's takes MasterCard, Visa, Diner's Club and American Express. You
can book online or send them a fax, but they prefer a call just to make sure
they get all the information about your plans. If you are arriving by air, they
will need the flight number and time of arrival/date and name of the person(s)
they are to pick up. When you call, you will be given a 1-800 number to call
for confirmationin case plans change (snowstorm, flight delays, etc).
If people are arriving at approximately the same time and want to
travel together. Let Mary know. She will try to put you in touch with
others arriving/leaving at the same time. |
