Like to be Driven?

It's possible to book transportation through Wood's Limo Service for travel between either downtown Halifax or the airport and Wolfville. Their website is at http://www.woodslimo.com and you can call them at 1-888-720-5466.

The rate for the 5 person sedan is $86.25 (+ tax). (This is for the vehicle itself going from/to Halifax to/from Wolfville. If two or more people are sharing, the cost can be split. Wood's is willing to do that, no problem.)

For 6 or more passengers, a stretch limo or mini van is available for $115. (+ tax).

For 8 or more passengers, it's "the" limo at a cost of $125 (+ tax).

Wood's takes MasterCard, Visa, Diner's Club and American Express. You can book online or send them a fax, but they prefer a call just to make sure they get all the information about your plans. If you are arriving by air, they will need the flight number and time of arrival/date and name of the person(s) they are to pick up. When you call, you will be given a 1-800 number to call for confirmation—in case plans change (snowstorm, flight delays, etc).

So, if people are arriving at approximately the same time and want to travel together, the limo service may be the way to go. Let Mary know if you would like to be put in touch with others arriving/leaving at the same time.
